We made it home late last night! It is such a great feeling to be home after being gone for so long! Because of my new job though I have no time off so we are trying to adjust to our new life while I work as much as I possibly can making up for time I've missed already this week. Dave goes back to work tomorrow. I promise I'll post more pictures and give the rest of the story when I get a free moment or two, but as most of you know there aren't many of those with a new baby around!

Introducing...
Miles Holden Kent

Born Sept. 14th in North Carolina
Joined our family Sept. 28th
We couldn't be more excited about this new adventure in our lives!!!
As mentioned previously the camera cords got left at home in our mad dash to get out here to NC so for now all we have are pictures from our phone cameras...sorry : (
We have to stay in NC until we get clearance from both NC and Utah to be able to travel with him and we are hoping that comes quickly...like TOMORROW! We've been out here for almost two weeks now and are ready to get home and start our new life!
I'll take more pictures of him tomorrow. As soon as we get home I'll do a post about how Miles came to join our family and will post pictures taken with our "nice" camera.

Forgot the camera cord...
As most of you know, we are currently in South Carolina. We flew out here rather last minute-like and get to hang around for another week or so. We are soooooo thankful to have Dave's sister, Shannon, and her family to stay with while we are out here!!!
I've taken a few pictures of our trip so far, but of course left the camera cord at home. So, everyone will have to be patient until we get home to see what our trip was like ; )

More baby stuff
We decided to get a few more baby things so that we are just a little bit more prepared for when "the call" comes! It is nice to be able to purchase things as we have the means and when they are on SALE!!!

Labor Day
Although I worked on Labor Day we still managed to have a nice day together! We had lunch with our neighbors at Red Lobster and Dave and Wes took advantage of their all you can eat shrimp deal. Those boys can eat a lot when they have each other to compete with...LOL!
That afternoon Zach & Tammy came down for a quick visit. For one of Zach's college classes he needed to attend a public garden so we went to the Central Utah Gardens in Orem. It is a public garden that teaches how to have nice landscaping but conserve water at the same time. Very educational!

By popular demand...
I've done some recent updating to our adoption profile(s) since our year mark of "waiting" is fast approaching. Some things just need to be updated! I also decided to replace our letter to birth parents with our scrapbooked profile. Many of you mentioned that you would like to see it in its entirety and now you can! Just click on the link in the right hand column that is called "Adoption Profile" and it will take you to there.
