It is hard to believe it is September already! We've all settled into our new routine quite nicely. Miles is really enjoying daycare and mom is enjoying the small break to get some work done. He enjoys it so much that last Friday he woke up and said, "Play?" When dad gets ready to take him to daycare he asks if Miles wants to go play so now daycare is known as "play." Daycare was closed Friday because of the holiday weekend so Miles was a little disappointed he had to "play" by himself while mom worked.
Even though we are back into our "normal" routine, we've still managed to have some fun together. We've played in the pool in the backyard and have even gone swimming at the public pool a couple of times (of which I got no pictures). Fall is in the air now so our swimming days are numbered.
The other exciting thing to happen in August was the arrival of our newest neighbor! Ian was born on August 27th to our good friends/neighbors, Wes & Michelle. We are so excited for them and this new adventure in their lives. Plus, we love having babies around to squeeze and hold.

How fun!!! I've missed some Sundays and wondered if Michelle and Wes had their little one yet - Miles is looking so attentive, so sweet!
